The best thing about O'Neill's is the Guinness pour. I know, I talked smack on the staff earlier, but the guy poured a couple of great pints. I got a second one just to make sure his first one wasn't a fluke. The second was even better. Kudos deserved.

There are Two Irish Pubs inside The Villages, Florida. I Went to Both, and I'm Counting Them.
I'm clumping these two Pubs together into one article, because they're a bit outside of the "Drunken Mallard" SOP. One of them, McCall's, doesn't serve Guinness and has a western theme to it, but it has an Irish name and a shamrock on their logo and front door... so I'm counting it. The other, McGrady's/Sawgrass Tavern, is more of a Pub, but still a little flimsy.

An Outsider's Look into The Villages, Florida as the 2027 Snowbirds Fly in.
You have to remember that social media influencers make the most money when people "engage" with their content, so the more they "bash" and belittle The Villages online, the more they know people will throw in their 2 cents, which ultimately rakes in more cash for their channels, despite the fact that most of the things they say are total crap (and they know it). The loofah thing? Total crap.

The Pub is/was located along the Freedom Trail and it's about a stone throw away from the Faneuil Hall. It sits on the same street as the Union Oyster House, America's oldest restaurant.

Durty Nelly's. Boston, Massachusetts.
Write it in ink and stamp it: Durty Nelly's can provide some incredible Craic-filled nights when the right people are both in front and behind the bar. Give me a Pub with the Craic vs a fine-looking Pub with a lousy bartender and boring regulars, or even worse; tourists.
